Seorin Chae, KMG President

Seorin Chae is an MS in Marketing Analysis candidate at DePaul University. Prior to her master’s degree, she earned a BS from DePaul’s Integrated Marketing Education (IME - Honors) program. Seorin was raised in various cities throughout the world and educated with early exposure to different cultures and languages. As a result, she is bilingual and emphasizes the importance of diversity, cultural awareness, and collaboration in her work. 

Seorin has a background in research (both primary and secondary), analysis, and consulting for brands such as Barilla Group, World Centric, and Fortune 100 pharmaceutical companies. Furthermore, she has a successful track record in event planning and execution, project management, and coordination. Overall, she enjoys learning and is passionate about integrating data into her decision-making and understanding of consumer trends. 

In her free time, Seorin enjoys art, exercising, checking out local bands, and exploring new neighborhoods/restaurants.

Bhargavi Kashyap, VP of PR and Communication 

Bhargavi Kashyap is an MS in Marketing Analysis candidate at DePaul University. She is research trained, analytics trainee and award-winning communication professional with over five years of experience consulting for some of the world’s leading technology brands like Microsoft, Symantec, AMD, and India’s leading renewable energy unicorn - ReNew Power. She holds an MS in Communication degree from Christ University, India and is a B2B tech enthusiast. 

As an experienced communications professional, Bhargavi is passionate about empirical decision making and measurement. She is keen on learning more about data analysis and incorporating it into business decision making. 

In her spare time, Bhargavi loves to watch reruns of Friends and Full House, plan vacations, learn new recipes and read. 


Chi Nguyen, VP of Event Management

Chi Nguyen is an MS in Marketing Analysis candidate at DePaul University. She is a bilingual who comes from Vietnam, and holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Economics. Recognized by colleagues and advisors for leadership, resourcefulness, effective critical thinking, and professional enthusiasm. As a VP of Events Management, she is thrilled to deliver value to students and marketing professionals, bringing exceptionally professional events and services to DePaul community.

In her free time, Chi loves going to the gym, cooking, hanging out with friends and exploring new places. She is also trying hard to enhance data analytics skills.

Carlie Frisch, VP of Membership

Carlie is currently a part-time MBA candidate at DePaul with concentrations in Marketing Strategy and Planning as well as Business Strategy and Decision Making. During the day, Carlie is a Customer Success Manager at SPINS, a wellness-focused data technology company. Previous to SPINS, Carlie worked in Revenue Management at MillerCoors and as an ESL teacher in Vietnam and Chile. 

Carlie received her BSBA from University of Denver, majoring in International Business and minoring in Spanish and Leadership Studies. Carlie is passionate about traveling, wine, and TV/Film. In her free time, Carlie enjoys tutoring high school Spanish and channeling her inner Serena Williams on the tennis court.

Patrick Lippi, VP of Finance and Operations

Patrick is an MBA Candidate at DePaul University with a dual concentration in Finance and Real Estate. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in marketing and has considerable experience in the media sector. 

He has a passion for business and technology, particularly the fields of Wealth Management, Fintech, and Real Estate Investments.

In his spare time, Pat enjoys studying languages, programming, and exploring Chicago. 

Alexandra Kritikou, VP of Brand Strategy and Strategic Relationships

Alexandra Kritikou was born and raised in Athens, Greece where she completed her undergraduate degree in Marketing. She moved to Chicago last year to pursue an MBA degree. Currently she is a second-year MBA student with a concentration in Marketing. Prior to DePaul she worked in advertising. Upon graduation, Alexandra is looking to get back into areas of brand marketing, advertising and marketing analytics. 

In her free time, she enjoys exploring new parts of Chicago, going to comedy shows and jazz bars.

Ieva Riddle, VP of KMG Website

Ieva Riddle is a graduate student at Kelldstadt Businness College at DePaul University studying M.S. in Business Analytis. She is also a Double Demon, received B.S. in Business, concentration Management Information Systems in 2017. She found her passion of digital media and website management, while she interning at Alexander J. Wayne & Associates, Inc. where she assisted with company’s website rebranding, led website development project and started digital marketing campaigns. In her career, Ieva led and executed SaaS implementation project for a non-profit organnization supporting women engineers.

She is using her passion for marketing and technology to manage KMG website and gain valuable leadership skills. Currently, she is working as Business System Analyst - Technical Specialist at Deloitte Global.

Outside of school and work, Ieva enjoys exploring Chicago restaurants, attending various technology conferences/events or career/studies related meet ups, and social events.

Daniela Dadesho, VP of Digital Engagement

Daniela Dadesho is an MS Marketing candidate at DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business with a BA in Communications, Media, and Theater and a minor in Sociology. Daniela was born in Syria, raised on Assyrian culture, and moved to the United States at the age of thirteen. The differences between the Syrian, Assyrian, and American cultures made Daniela realize that even though people are exposed to the same kind of message, their way of interpreting the message can be different depending on their upbringing. Since that moment she decided to study Communications to better understand people from different upbringings, and to make her community’s voices heard. She also wants to get as much experience as she can in the field of marketing so she can take her communities businesses to the next level. 

In her free time, Daniela likes exploring new restaurants, art exhibits, and any hidden gems in Chicago and the suburbs. She also loves sketching fashion designs whenever she gets the chance. She is currently trying to teach herself how to sew so she can bring her sketches to life.


Margaret Wolfe, VP of Digital Engagement

Margaret is an MS Marketing candidate at DePaul University with a BS in Advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and minors in Theatre and Gender and Women’s Studies.

An accomplished marketing manager in the B2B technology world, Margaret is passionate about utilizing data to identify the impact marketing strategies have on customer purchase behavior and crafting compelling messages that speak to the target market. Her experience covers data analytics, digital marketing, customer identification, social media analytics, departmental budget management, and more.

In her spare time, Margaret enjoys writing (occasionally as a guest writer for The DePaulia), volunteering, attending live theatre performances, and training for races. 


Dr. Zafar Iqbal
Faculty Advisor

Zafar Iqbal is the Associate Professor of Marketing at DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business and Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He is also Associate Director for Regional Initiatives at DePaul. developing and executing DePaul’s strategy in India.  Zafar earned a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.S. in Industrial Relations from Iowa State University, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT at the University of Poona, India.  He teaches courses in new product development, developing sustainable business models, marketing strategy and management, and advanced consumer insights. He has taught at the MBA level at the Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand, the Czech Management Center in the Czech Republic and at the executive level at Steinbeis University in Germany.  He also leads international study abroad programs for DePaul students to India, Japan and the Middle East.  For his teaching, he has been awarded the Lawrence W Ryan Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching Award 7 times, the DePaul University Excellence in Teaching Award 2 times, and the Gus Economos Distinguished Graduate Teaching Award 2 times.

Zafar is also the author of business and scholarly articles which have appeared in journals such as Journal of Marketing, California Management Review, Sloan Management Review, Journal of Service Research, and Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management. 

Zafar has worked in business-to-business marketing for Thermax Corporation, India.  Zafar is the Principal Consultant at Erudite Consulting, which he founded in 2005.  He has 15+ years of consulting experience, having worked as a consultant to various corporations, including Knowles Electronics, Terumo, Alfa Laval, Skoda, Walgreens, Motorola, Healthpoint, DHL, ISACA, Pohang Iron & Steel Company, Zenith Corporation, Credit Suisse First Boston, and the Iowa Department of Transportation.

He is the co-founder of Friends for India’s Development and Assistance (FIDA), a not-for-profit founded to educate tribal children in rural India. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu and Gujarati. He speaks German at an intermediate level, and reads Arabic at a basic level.
